Der Forschungsschwerpunkt bei re:ortho liegt in der Kniechirurgie, insbesondere in der biomechanischen Grundlagenforschung sowie in der translationalen und klinischen Forschung.
Die wissenschaftliche Tätigkeit umfasst jährliche Beiträge auf nationalen und internationalen Kongressen, mehrere Publikationen pro Jahr in internationalen Fachzeitschriften sowie Buchbeiträge zu orthopädisch-traumatologischen Themen.
Darüber hinaus besteht eine aktive Mitarbeit in international anerkannten Fachzeitschriften sowie in Komitees verschiedener Fachgesellschaften. Dies ermöglicht die Verbindung von Forschung und klinischer Praxis.
